TruckAds® "Impressions Calculator" TRUCKADS®

Calculate Impressions and CPM

The TruckAds® "Impressions Calculator" calculates how many impressions are created per month, per vehicle. The total number of impressions per month are based on hours driven per month.*

If you are an advertiser or an ad agency, this tool can help you determine cost per 1000 impressions for a truck advertising campaign. If you own a truck, it can help you determine how many impressions your truck can produce for advertisers per month.

How to Calculate CPM Impressions for
Ads On "2 Sides and the Back" of a Truck

Step 1. Choose the driving location(s) of a vehicle, then insert the number of hours the vehicle is driven during day time and/or night time hours. Click the "calculate" button after each insertion.
Step 2. Insert the number of days the vehicle is driven per month and then click "calculate" to read the total impressions per month.
NOTE: You can mix and match the number of hours and driving locations in your calculations. Example: 5 day time hours in DMA 1 to 50, then 3 hours on a high traffic interstate at night.

CPM CALCULATION: Once you have the "total impressions per month per vehicle", multiply this number by the total number of trucks in the ad campaign. Then divide the total cost of the ad campaign by the total number of impressions. Multiply this number by 1000. The final figure will be your cost per 1000 impressions (CPM) for the entire campaign.

EXAMPLE: 850,000 Impressions x 20 trucks = 17,000,000 impressions. $11,200.00 (campaign cost) divided by 17,000,000 impressions, x 1000 = $0.66 (CPM) cost per 1000 impressions.
